Nope. While one of my closest friends was a top model and I listened to all of her stories and made a mental note of life in the model apartment, her castings, model calls and her life in New York and Milan.  I really did enjoy making up Kylisha’s story, though. I didn’t know where I was going with her, and, at one point, I almost deleted everything I’d written about her. Then, when I sent her to Milan and she met up with Kia, things all fell into place. 

I loved writing about her experience in New York. I’ve been several times and went through all my photos to see if I could bring back some memories. The whole Greg story came to me while sitting in London. It was clearly the wrong city, but I just sat down all day and people-watched, and ideas popped into my mind as I scribbled notes.
