Raw Mistakes

So, I started off writing this book with the working title of, ‘Not sure what I’m going to call this thing.’  But as I dove deeper into the story, I had a lightbulb moment—I wanted to incorporate the word raw. Now, for all you non-photography buffs out there, Raw is a photographic format, and of course, Bree is a photographer, so it made sense. (at least to me, it did)  I thought it added a nice touch, especially when paired with all the emotions swirling around in the book.

By the time I was almost finished,  I was set on calling it Raw Lives, but then, in a sudden burst of inspiration (or maybe just a touch of madness), I switched gears and settled on Mistakes. It dawned on me that this book was just the beginning of a series, and it made more sense to have ‘Mistakes’ as a recurring theme in future titles. So, voila! Raw Mistakes was born, followed by Better Mistakes, Secret Mistakes, Inevitable Mistakes and Final Mistakes.
