Q & A about writer’s block.

I think writer’s block is different for everyone.

My version of writer’s block is:

a) Exhausted

B) Too busy photographing weddings to even think about writing

C) Having a glass of wine with friends and forgetting the book for a few hours.

Honestly, though, when I can’t get anywhere on a story, I try to switch to another character, and then, when I’m inspired, I loop back. I’ve been stuck on a few storylines, but this method seems to work, so as I’m writing about one person, I’m also trying to link the stories together. I have had cast members that I’ve totally scrapped as I couldn’t feel a connection to them, and I just forgot about them once and for all.

I guess soon I’ll have to start on a new series and who knows how that will go. Maybe I’ll do this series and I’ll be a one hit/series wonder with nothing more to say.  Maybe it will be the opposite, and I’ll start writing, and before I know it, I’ll have another 5 books filled. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

Watch this space to see what happens next.
