Hello from Lake Garda.

A few years back, I found myself swimming in my spare time – thanks to the infamous Covid era. Writing a book was never on my radar, but as I started a blog chronicling life in Italy during the pandemic, I discovered a newfound passion for putting pen to paper.

After some contemplation, I realised I didn’t have to choose between my two loves: wedding planning/photography and writing. Why not do both? So, in my free time, I decided to write a book about four very different women and their lives that brought them all to the town of Rocca Pinta Malcesine and into the magical world of wedding planning, diving headfirst into the enchanting world of wedding planning. You may recognise Rocca Pinta as a lakeside gem that bears a striking resemblance to Malcesine. 

I let my imagination run wild as I crafted stories about weddings unlike any others, where anything was possible, full of twists and turns that would keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page.

As the tales of the four women intertwined, secrets were unveiled, hearts were shattered, and fresh starts were forged. I found myself whisked away into a realm of love, laughter, heartache, and unexpected twists. The stories of Bree, Petra, Nina, and Carla resonate with readers of all ages as we journey with them through the complexities of an ever-changing life. Each day, I allowed myself to dive headfirst into the world I had crafted; I poured my heart and soul into every story and character. When I concluded Raw Mistakes, I knew I couldn’t just stop at one book.

The first book, Raw Mistakes, hit the shelves in August 2023, only to discover that the publishers had reverted to an earlier draft in the final print. So, I’ve been hard at work ensuring it’s perfect and it’s back on sale on Amazon, Kobo, and Goodreads.

In the second book, Better Mistakes, the story continues with our leading ladies navigating the highs and lows of their new lives and the unexpected changes thrust upon them after the cliffhanger of the first book. With surprises lurking around every corner, I hope to take readers on an emotional rollercoaster that will leave them breathless and eager for the next book.
